President Volodymyr Zelensky stresses that ending the war in Ukraine should be a victory for the US president, not Russian leader Vladimir Putin.

The journalist asked Zelensky about Trump's potential role in ending the war, calling him one of Ukraine's most influential assets. Trump's reluctance to be seen as a loser was underscored by the journalist, who also asked whether this could influence him in negotiating a deal with Putin that would be presented as a victory for the Russian leader.

"The issue of ending the war in Ukraine should be, I believe, a victory for Trump, not Putin. Putin is nobody to him. America is much stronger, and Europe is much stronger. China is much stronger than Russia. They are all players."

The President stressed the importance of developing a joint action plan before starting negotiations with Russia to end the war.

"I think all of us who really want to end the war, who want to end it quickly if possible, it would be good for all of us to have a plan until we get a handle on Putin. I think it's in the interests of the United States, the European Union, Europe as a whole. It's in the interests of Ukraine and our people."
