Kormyshkin's actions are classified under Part 2 of Article 209 and Part 2 of Article 366-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, according to which, if his guilt is proven, he faces imprisonment for up to eight years.
NABU and SAP suspect the husband of the People's Deputy from Servant of the People Irina Kormyshkina of legalizing property that his wife acquired illegally, as well as of failing to declare this property. This was reported by NABU on Thursday, January 23.
As noted by the State Prosecutor's Office, in 2021-2022, the deputy acquired more than UAH 20 million in property, which significantly exceeded her legal income and savings.
She later loaned them to her husband, who used the money to buy a house near Odessa, where the couple now live.
In addition, neither the deputy nor her husband provided information about the house and two plots of land they were using in their 2023 declaration.
Kormyshkin's actions are classified under Part 2 of Article 209 and Part 2 of Article 366-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, according to which, if his guilt is proven, he faces imprisonment for up to eight years.
In October last year, NABU and SAP reported suspicion of Kormyshkina due to 20 million assets of dubious origin. Subsequently, the people's representative was taken on bail by the head of the Servant of the People faction David Arakhamia and the head of the Mykolaiv OVA Vitaly Kim.
Several weeks ago, deputy Kormyshkina was charged with failure to declare property.
According to media reports, in 2023, then Allahverdiyeva married Yuriy Kormyshkin, a deputy of the Nikolaev Regional Council, and changed her last name. Kormyshkin is the owner of the PAEK agricultural holding.
At first he was a regional council deputy from the Party of Regions. After the Maidan, he was elected from the party "Nash Krai". This is a banned party, which was headed by the state traitor Andriy Derkach.
Last year, Kormyshkin prematurely resigned from his position as a deputy of the Nikolaev Regional Council.
Let us recall that the investigation established that in 2021-2022, the MP took possession of assets that exceeded her official income and savings for this period by more than 20 million hryvnia. With this money, she purchased a house near Odessa, where she lives. But already in October, the VAKS chose a preventive measure in the form of personal guarantee for the current MP, who is accused of illegal enrichment.
As is known, in 2020, a video was distributed online in which the head of the Servant of the People party and the head of the faction, people's deputies Oleksandr Kornienko and David Arakhamia discussed their colleague Irina Kormyshkina. The dialogue included phrases such as "working woman" and "ship pine".
