The European Commission proposes to extend the Agreement, that is, transport visa-free, for at least 12 months with the possibility of subsequently extending it for another six months.
The Ministry of Reconstruction of Ukraine and the European Commission will be able to officially begin negotiations on the extension of the Agreement on the Liberalization of Freight Transport between Ukraine and the EU. The corresponding mandate for negotiations was approved by the EU Council during a meeting on April 29, the press service of the ministry reported .
It is reported that the European Commission proposes to extend the Agreement, that is, transport visa-free, for at least 12 months with the possibility of subsequently extending it for another six months. We are talking about the ability to carry out permit-free bilateral transportation at least until the end of June 2025.
The ministry noted that the official text for discussion will be sent to Ukraine in the near future.
