Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, against the backdrop of active shelling by Russia of Kharkov, said that two Patriot air defense systems in the city had fundamentally changed the situation.

He announced this on social networks.

The world can stop Russian terror – and to do this, the lack of political will of leaders must be overcome. Two “Petriots” for Kharkov will fundamentally change the situation. “Air defense systems for our other cities and a sufficient amount of support for our soldiers on the front line will ensure a loss to Russian terror,” Zelensky noted.

The President thanked all leaders and states who are acting truly decisively to bring a just end to the war and accountability for terrorists.

He recalled that just today, as a result of one of the shellings in the Kharkov region, 16 people were injured and five were killed. Zelensky expressed condolences to the families and friends of the victims of Russian terror.
