The Kharkov operation of the occupier comes down to an attempt to weaken our forces as a whole along the front, Zelensky emphasized.

Ukraine’s task is to thwart Russia’s attempt to expand the war to other territories, the head of state emphasized.

The Russian occupiers are trying to weaken the forces of Ukraine as a whole along the front with an operation in the Kharkov direction. President Vladimir Zelensky announced this in a video message.

“In fact, the entire Kharkov operation of the occupier comes down to an attempt to weaken our forces as a whole along the front and at the same time an attempt to strengthen his propaganda – propaganda aimed at world leaders. Russia wants to show that it is she who determines what will happen next with the war,” the head of state explained.

Ukraine’s task is to thwart the Russian attempt to expand the war and not allow the occupier to break either the front or Ukrainian diplomacy, the country’s leader summarized.

Earlier, the President of Ukraine said that Western countries are afraid of Russia losing the war, because after that there will be “unpredictable geopolitics.” He emphasized that “it doesn’t work that way,” and for Ukraine to win, “we need to give everything that they win with.”
