The Kyiv City Council approved the installation of six mini-thermal power plants (CHP) in the capital. They will be located both on the right and left banks of Kyiv.

Deputy mayor, secretary of the Kyiv City Council Vladimir Bondarenko said that these mini-CHPs will be located in places where more people live.

“We have individual boiler rooms, which can be one for several houses or one per house. [Mayor] Vitaliy Klitschko has already given the corresponding order, and we will think about a specific program for apartment buildings so that individual boilers and individual generators are installed in them,” Bondarenko said.
