Vladimir Zelensky, during the United24 summit in Kyiv, announced the start of a global collection for combat robotic platforms.

The press service reports this.

Today I am pleased to announce news about the development of United24. The first is that new ambassadors are joining. And our second news is that a global collection for combat robotic platforms is starting. Our Ukrainian “Drone Army” and maritime drone technology have already proven their effectiveness in protecting Ukraine from Russian terror,” Zelensky said.

The United24 platform has collected $650 million in aid to Ukraine in two years and united 110 countries and millions of people and companies. Voluntary contributions ranged from a few dollars to millions. This made it possible to implement more than a hundred projects: create the world’s first fleet of maritime drones, purchase emergency vehicles and equipment for hospitals, restore residential buildings, build bridges and equip shelters for children.

The new ambassadors of United24, according to Zelensky, are American actresses Hillary Swenk and Alyssa Milano, and there are already 26 of them in total.

The United24 summit in Kyiv was attended by NASA astronaut Scott Kelly, football players Andrei Shevchenko and Alexander Zinchenko, actor Misha Collins, Imagine Dragons director of photography Ty Arnold, as well as film director and screenwriter with Ukrainian roots Darius Marder, director and film producer Doug Liman.

Two years ago, the idea of United24 was launched – the idea of uniting as many ordinary people from different countries and continents as possible. “United24 has added strength to our state, strength to our society, and to humanity as a whole it has added the knowledge that states can also create successful fundraising platforms that are focused both on the protection of universal human values and on absolutely practical, effective assistance to the state during war,” Zelensky emphasized .
