Egypt's population has exceeded 100 million people, and therefore the country's President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi said that it is enough for one family to have no more than two children.

It is noted that during a speech at the opening of a medical complex in Ismailia, the head of state warned fellow citizens that rapid population growth is dangerous because it negatively affects the Egyptian economy.

“Until the issue of population growth is brought under control, people will not feel any improvement in their living conditions,” al-Sisi said. At the same time, the president assured the country's residents that the authorities do not plan to solve the problem using harsh methods. “We are working on a program to counteract population growth and provide the necessary services to Egyptian families,” he said.
