The head of the Danish government, Matte Frederiksen, confirmed the media’s assumption that the aircraft would be transferred “in the near future.”
The Ukrainian Air Force will have F-16 fighters from Denmark within a month. This was announced by Die Zeit journalist Jörg Lau on the social network H. with reference to a statement by Prime Minister Matte Frederiksen.
Denmark plans to transfer 19 F-16 aircraft to Ukraine.
As we wrote earlier, according to media reports, the first Western F-16 fighters will arrive in Ukraine within the next few weeks.
Let us add that some Ukrainian pilots are already completing training on American F-16 aircraft. When the fighters arrive in Ukraine, the pilots will be ready to carry out their missions.
