Asteroid 2024 CR9 will fly near Earth on Tuesday, June 11.

This was reported by NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL).

According to NASA, the length of the celestial object is 427 meters.

The distance from it to our planet will be 7.37 million km. The speed of the asteroid is 26568 km/h.

If an asteroid approaches Earth at a distance closer than 7.4 million km, and its size exceeds 150 m, then NASA considers it a “potentially dangerous object.”

It is noted that asteroid 2024 CR9 falls under two parameters simultaneously.
