President Vladimir Zelensky will take part in the Group of Seven (G7) summit, which will be held June 13-15 in the city of Brindisi in southern Italy.

Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni talks with journalists, reports “European Pravda” with reference to the ANSA news agency.

Meloni said that the G7 summit would be attended by “at least fifteen” countries and international organizations, in addition to the leaders of the Group and the Pope.

The Italian prime minister did not specify whether Zelensky will be in Italy in person or will join the meeting via video call.

Politico previously reported that President Zelensky could also attend the G7 summit, but there was no official confirmation.
