Ukrainian and Japanese companies signed 23 memorandums of economic cooperation ahead of the Ukraine Reconstruction Conference 2024 (URC2024).

In particular, Ukraine and Japan will deepen cooperation in the following areas:

• infrastructure restoration and green building;
• energy sector;
• agricultural sector and modernization of agricultural machinery;
• development of drones for mine clearance purposes;
• financing the construction of affordable housing and much more.

Japan also plans to introduce the latest technologies in Ukraine, provide training and develop the potential of Ukrainian specialists. The Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) has decided to open an office in Kyiv.
