The Kyiv region police have completed their investigation into the officer who was involved in the scandal involving veteran Pavlo Yakimchuk. As a result, the policewoman was fired from her position.

We are talking about an incident that took place in the parking lot of the Epicenter hypermarket in the Darnitsky district of Kyiv. Pavel Yakimchuk saw how the driver of a car without the required sticker parked in a place for people with disabilities.

The veteran made a remark to the driver, after which a woman in a police uniform got out of the car and started a conflict with him, during which, according to him, she called him a "complete invalid." It turned out that the woman was an employee of the National Police of the Kyiv Region.

The Main Directorate of the National Police in the Kyiv region has launched an internal investigation into its employee. Law enforcement officers have confirmed the fact of verbal abuse and traffic violations.

The driver of the car was a male inspector, a civilian. A passing driver discovered violations, after which he made a remark to the family. The driver and the passenger did not respond to the remark, entered into a verbal conflict, and left the car in a place for people with disabilities for about an hour, the police said.

Following the investigation, the police officer was dismissed from her position. Law enforcement officers also sent materials regarding the driver to the Kyiv Patrol Police. The patrol officers must consider the issue of administrative liability for violating parking rules.
