According to the State Statistics Service, 167.6 thousand passenger cars (used and new) were imported to Ukraine from January to June 2024; this is a third more than in the same period last year.

This was reported by the press service of the Association of Ukrainian Automobile Manufacturers.

The total customs value of these cars was $2,290 million, which is 40% more than last year.

It is noted that the largest supplier of passenger cars was Germany, from where 33,074 cars were imported to Ukraine. The top three exporting countries also included the United States and Japan – 27,649 and 18,099 passenger cars, respectively. China is in fourth place – with 17,715 cars sold.
